Heartland DSC awards First Harvest and First Catch Awards to recognize first achievements in the field and on the water. Awards are presented during the Annual Heartland DSC Banquet & Auction.
RULES
- Harvest or catch must occur during the period between the Banquet in which the award will be presented and the previous Banquet.
- Awards will recognize a first of species, examples: First Whitetail Deer, First Merriam’s Wild Turkey, First Mule Deer, First Mallard Duck, First Largemouth Bass, First Walleye, First Catfish, etc.
- No age limit on recipients.
- Submissions may be made anytime during the year, but must be received a minimum of two (2) weeks prior the Banquet in which it will be presented.
- Awards are presented during the Heartland DSC Banquet & Auction. Recipients must be present to receive the award.
SUBMITTING FOR AWARDS
Email the following to info@heartlanddsc.com which will be indicated on the award:
- First and Last Name of Individual receiving the award.
- Species qualifying for the First Award.
- Location that the harvest or catch was made such as county and state or body of water.
- Date harvest or catch was made.
- Method of take; rifle, shotgun, bow, rod & reel, etc.
- Photo of the recipient with the first harvest or first catch to be included on the award.
