Jame’s Week at Boy Scout Camp
Heartland DSC would like to introduce you to our friend James! James is a young man that took our Action Trackchair for a week to his Boy Scout summer outdoor camp! Our chair enabled James to go fishing and it got him through the sand to the water’s edge and participate in archery, which is one of his favorite activities! James also participated in nature hikes with his fellow Boy Scout buddies.
Cade’s Elk Hunt
Cade is a vibrant young man who loves the outdoors. He is a farm boy with his own flock of chickens and garden he cares for. Cade was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy when he was 9 years old. When Heartland DSC heard about Cade and his passion for hunting, fishing and being outdoors, President Corey Goss contacted Northern Extreme Adventures and together, they put together a hunt of a lifetime for Cade. Cade was able to harvest a bull elk and capture a lifetime of memories with his family on this trip.
